Chicken Feet Dog Treats

We are frequently asked about our Chicken Feet treats for dogs. We hope this will answer your questions.

1. Why can we give our dogs dehydrated Chicken Feet and not other cooked chicken bones? Chicken Feet are all cartilage. Boiled, roasted or dehydrated they are easily crunched, swallowed and digested.

2. Why shouldn’t we give our dogs leftover cooked chicken bones? They shard and are sharp. All size pieces can lodge, poke and scratch on the way down…and on the way out.

3. Can I give my dog raw chicken bones? That’s your call as a pet parent. Here’s what I’m comfortable with: know the source of your chicken. I’m proud to say I source our chicken feet from Ellis Farm in Lincolnton and Basswood Creek Farm in Gastonia. IF a chicken foot falls on the floor and gets snapped up by Cooper (the speedy one), I keep an eye on him while he’s enjoying his treasure. It’s a couple of crunches and he’s a happy boy.
